Every runner is chasing something. A time. A feeling. A version of themselves they haven’t met yet. That universal pursuit is what fuels Go Chase It, the latest campaign for NN Running Team.

This isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up. Again and again. The campaign puts that mindset front and center, through stories that resonate with both elite athletes and everyday runners. Because progress, not perfection, is the real win.

A golden opportunity

Launching just after the 2024 Paris Olympics, the timing was crucial. Many top-tier athletes skipped the Fall Marathons to focus on Olympic glory. This opened the door for a new spotlight: the rising stars and unsung team heroes.

Their stories weren’t always about standing on the podium. One athlete was returning after injury. Another, recently a mother, wanted to make her newborn proud. Goals like these echoed far beyond the professional circuit. Suddenly, the campaign was speaking the language of every runner. And that made it powerful. It bridged the gap between elite and amateur, showing that the chase is universal.

What are you chasing?

To connect with the global running community, we launched a digital platform where fans could submit what they were chasing. From sub-three dreams to running for joy, every story mattered. On Instagram, selected goals were featured and shared. Runners could also pick up printed posters during race weekends and write down their own goals. A simple but powerful moment to reflect, commit and feel part of something bigger.

Tottenham Street

For three days, 30 Tottenham Street became the physical heart of Go Chase It. Together with Global Sports Communication, we created the full pop-up store experience. From the window displays to the campaign wall, every detail reflected the mindset behind the movement. Visitors joined shake-out runs, listened to live talks and connected with icons like Eliud Kipchoge. A space filled with ambition, community and energy ahead of the London Marathon.

About NN Running Team x Capital Sports

Running used to be a solo sport, until NN Running Team changed everything. Founded in 2017 by former athlete Jos Hermens, it became the world’s first professional team for long-distance runners. Icons like Eliud Kipchoge, Kenenisa Bekele, and Abdi Nageeye soon joined, and the results followed: major marathon wins, Olympics medals, and world records.

Capital Sports has partnered with NN Running Team since its founding in 2017. Each year, we shape the seasonal campaign that drives their communication across major race moments. Go Chase It marks our fourth collaboration, a campaign rooted in real ambition, designed to connect, and built to last.

In 2020, the world was turned upside down. Because of the coronavirus, almost no sporting events went ahead. Although running was possible for many athletes, a lap around the church was not enough to qualify for the Olympics.

Een bijzondere internationale samenwerking
De samenwerking met Invicta Watch is zeer bijzonder. Als Nederlands marketingbureau werken we al vele jaren samen met dit horlogebedrijf uit Miami. Eerdere campagnes waren bijvoorbeeld met de Muppets. We werkten samen met beroemdheden als Eva Longoria, Shaquille O’Neal, Gabrielle Union en Jason Taylor en verzorgden campagnes met bijvoorbeeld Marvel. Campagnes met een sportief tintje waren er met Las Vegas Raiders, MLB, NFL en NHL. In 2022 waren we verantwoordelijk voor de Juan Manuel Correa. En nu dus een vervolg met de campagne van Invicta Racing en de coureurs Bortoleto en Maini. Het was in alle opzichten een campagne zonder grenzen: een Zwitsers horlogemerk, een klant uit Miami, een landhuis in Engeland, coureurs uit Brazilië en India en een bureau uit Den Bosch.
