World's top show jumpers and riders compete in Valkenswaard
Longines Tops International Arena Valkenswaard is the global epicentre of equestrian sport. From 23 to 25 August 2024, it will host the Longines Global Champions Tour, a spectacular showjumping event featuring the world's best showjumping horses and riders. Besides this impressive competition, Tops International Arena also hosts several other events during the summer under the umbrella ‘Summer Festival’. Capital Sports assists in promoting the events and boosts ticket sales with targeted online marketing campaigns (including social media and Google Ads), and creative advertising in newspapers, magazines, via digital-out-of-home displays and on billboards.

The Longines Global Champions Tour offers sports fans the perfect opportunity to see the world's top riders in action up close. It is also known as the ‘Formula 1 of equestrian sport’. The prestigious event is held at the world's most beautiful venues, such as Miami Beach, Mexico City, Shanghai, Madrid, Saint-Tropez, Monaco, London and Valkenswaard. The Eiffel Tower is traditionally the setting for the Paris edition.

Valkenswaard is the most notable venue in the list of hosts of the Global Champions Tour. Longines Tops International Arena is an internationally renowned equestrian centre. The unique world-class complex combines modern design and technology with traditional values to provide participants, spectators and VIP guests from all over the world with a perfect environment. With horse welfare as its top priority, the arena features a 125m x 85m grass arena and no fewer than four sand arenas with top-quality bottoms. More than 500 outstanding stalls have been designed, providing the best facilities for grooms to groom the horses.
A weekend full of competition and entertainment
So at the iconic and breathtaking Tops International Arena, the crème de la crème of equestrian sport will gather at the end of August for a weekend of spectacular competition. The Longines Global Champions Tour is a showjumping competition, not dressage. Teams of two riders compete for prizes. Besides equestrian sport at the highest level, there is also room for entertainment, with music, culinary treats and activities for children.
