Team IKO, an elite ice skating squad, boasts some of the fastest skaters in the world, including world champion Joy Beune and Olympic champion Bart Swings. Joy Beune claimed the title of world all-round champion in winter 2024 and also secured gold in the 5,000 meters at the World Single Distances Championships. Alongside her teammates, she became both European and world champion in the team pursuit event. Joy's impressive performances mark her as a rising star with the potential to dominate the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics. Bart Swings, considered the greatest Belgian skater of all time, has been a leading figure in the skating world for many years. He is the reigning Olympic mass start champion (Beijing 2022) and has won the last two world championships (2023 and 2024) in this event. Both Joy and Bart are strong contenders for more gold medals at the 2026 Olympics in Milan, where they are among the top favorites.
